US Open Cup

I really love the US Open Cup, especially because we, as a country, refuse to employ a promotion/relegation system.  Here’s how the USL PRO teams did, round-by-round (USL PRO enters in the second round of tournament. Bold teams still active).

Arizona United SC – Active, Fourth Round v. LA Galaxy (MLS)
Charleston Battery – Third Round, lost to Orlando City U-23s (PDL)
Charlotte Eagles – Third Round, lost to Carolina Railhawks (NASL)
Dayton Dutch Lions – Third Round, lost to Indy Eleven (NASL)
Harrisburg City Islanders – Fourth Round, lost to Philadelphia Union (MLS)
LA Galaxy II – Third Round, lost to PSA Elite (USASA)
Oklahoma City Energy FC – Third Round, lost to Arizona United SC (USL PRO)
Orange County Blues FC – Second Round, lost to Fresno Fuego (PDL)
Orlando City SC – Fourth Round, lost to Colorado Rapids (MLS)
Pittsburgh Riverhounds – Active, Fourth Round v. Chicago Fire (MLS)
Richmond Kickers – Fourth Round, lost to New England Revolution (MLS)
Rochester Rhinos – Active, Fifth Round v. Columbus Crew (MLS)
Sacramento Republic FC – Fourth Round, lost to San Jose Earthquakes (MLS)
Wilmington Hammerheads FC – Second Round, lost to Chatanooga FC (NPSL)
